Welcome to the "Holzerhof", at the foot of our famous skiing and hiking area Kronplatz, at the entrance to the Antholz Valley!

Our farm is located in Valdaora in the Pustertal at the foot of the famous skiing and hiking area Kronplatz at 1,100 m a.s.l., surrounded by meadows and extensive forests, with a beautiful view of the valley. This wonderful, quiet location of our mountain farm is the right place for rest, relaxation, but also for adventure and fun for young and old.

The Holzerhof has been owned by the "Hofer" family for over 200 years. We have been a certified organic farm with suckler cow husbandry since 2006. Appropriate animal husbandry and feeding, as well as sustainable handling of nature are essential components of our agriculture. We master the work on the farm together as a family. Young and old, everybody is involved in our field and stable work, from the care of the forest to the preparation of our farm crops.

 

Products made on the farm

On our organic farm, suckler cows and their calves are kept according to high standards. The result is a tender, healthy meat that we supply to the "Bioregio" cooperative. We would be happy to give you a tour of our company.
In addition, jams and juices for our family are made from berries that grow on the farm. You can watch the pressing and processing.
At the farm you can get fresh eggs from our hens as well as healthy, self-picked garden herbs, salad and vegetables.

The prices indicated are for apartment per day, stay for at least 5 nights, including final cleaning. The price does not include the tourist tax of 2,50 € per day for each person (over 14 years old).

Holidaypass Premium

On arrival you will receive the HOLIDAYPASS from us.

The HOLIDAYPASS Premium entitles the holder to the unlimited use of all public transportation (including regional rail travel) in all of South Tyrol-Südtirol throughout the entire year. Furthermore, with the HOLIDAYPASS Premium you’ll be able to participate at several activity programs free of charge and you’ll benefit from various discounts.

Arrival & Departure:
Arrival: from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Departure: till 9:00 am

Deposit:
The reservation is considered confirmed as soon as we receive the deposit (30% of the price of the trip).

Bill:
Please pay the bill and tourist tax the day before departure.

Cancellation conditions:

  • Free cancellation is possible up to 90 days before arrival
  • If the cancellation is made in the period between 89 and 60 days before arrival, we will credit the deposit for another stay at our farm (to be used within 6 months).
  • For cancellations between 59 and 30 days before arrival, the deposit will be retained.
  • For cancellations up to 29 days before arrival and for non-arrival we charge 80%.

For hygienic reasons and out of consideration for allergy sufferers, animals are not allowed in the apartments.
Smoking is prohibited in the apartments.

Experience an unforgettable winter holiday with us in Valdaora in the Puster Valley, at the foot of the Kronplatz, not far from the famous biathlon center in Antholz. Enjoy your stay at our farm in the middle of snow-covered forests and let yourself be enchanted by the snowy landscape and the tranquility of the farm, take a walk or just read a good book.

How to reach us:

 

Coming from the Brenner or Bozen on the Motorway, take the Brixen / Pustertal exit and continue in the direction of Pustertal.
Past Bruneck, follow the main road for approx. 12 km to the village of Olang and drive to Niederolang.
At the church in Niederolang, turn left onto the street "In der Länge", follow it and then turn onto "Kohlschermweg".
Follow the road to the side street "Waldhöfe", which leads over a bridge into the forest.
After approx. 500 m on the right you will see our farm sign "Fam. Hofer Holzer” where the road leads down to our farm.

Please use winter tires and / or chains in winter!
